Taking the Biennial's theme (of The Unexpected Guest) as a point of departure, Tantra reflects upon how the built environment make us feel; how we as bodies are drawn to or repelled by physical structures, light, surface and colour. Tantra's intervention – "Together, Yet Forever Apart" – will transform the external facade of Open Eye Gallery and the public space adjoining it, creating a spectacle of submergence.
