‘Paradise’ conjures images of an idyllic world - perhaps one that we have lost or one that we strive for. But each of us has a different view of paradise, rooted in our perception of the existing world around us. What underlies the notion of paradise is hope for the future and a wish to make life better or more worthwhile.
In very different ways, the works in this exhibition have something to say about how we live today and how we might live tomorrow.
